Hidden Dwarves – The Best Part of this Bed Apple White’s Fainting Couch is covered in elaborate detail – but the best detail by far is that hidden in the gold “carving” of her bed are tiny dwarves that look like garden gnomes. I think this is such a cute and fun idea for the fairytale daughter of Snow White.This playset is great for several reasons – it is not just a bed (fainting couch), it also has several accessories for apple, and two storage areas. The couch itself is in Apple’s colors – red, white and gold. The bed cushion is red with embossed apple,s and the back headboard and pillow roll are quilted white (plastic) cushion with jewel shaped buttons. The base and canopy of the bed are branching gold that twist and grow into a tree that morphs into a tiara, and is covered with hidden dwarves. It is hard to describe, but so very cool. Gorgeous with a great design! I make my own doll clothing and furniture but I am always buying “extra” pieces, both for inspiration and to use with stuff I make. Many times, I buy cheap plastic stuff and repaint, or add things to it but in this case, I will be leaving the piece as-is. This is such a pretty piece of doll furniture, not much needs to be done to it to make it look fabulous! This couch will look gorgeous in most any doll scene regardless if you are a fan of the traditional “princess” doll look or if you are more into the newer “scary” and modern thing.
