Daughter loves the doll, but wings are a problem PROS: My daughter loves this doll (birthday gift from grandma) and has played with it a lot every day since receiving it a few days ago. She loves that the doll can be transformed from “regular girl” to “fairy” and to “mermaid.” The doll itself is very well made – pretty face, nice soft hair, and bendable legs. CONS: However, from the moment it was out of the packaging, the wings would not stay on. The wings attach to one of the molded plastic tops, but they fall off as soon as she starts to play (she is age 7 and gentle with her toys). She has very good fine motor skills, but is unable to put the wings back on herself. I kept putting them back on, only to have them instantly fall off again when play resumed. We finally got out the Super Glue to try to permanently attach the wings (craft glue did not work), but now the top is a little tricky to get on the doll (my daughter has to remember to put the doll’s arms straight up when getting the top on or off to keep them out of the…
