Beautiful Doll, check your undereducated PC crap at the door This is a beautiful doll. I am very happy that Mattel has made a series of historical dolls in recent years. I only wish that they had dolls like this when I was growing up. I highly recommend that you add it to your collection or give it to your favorite child as a gift. This type of doll would sure get the child interested in history to some degree.BUTI was a little perturbed when I saw some of the recent reviews for this toy. Someone (who shall remain nameless) wrote that this is a shameful doll because the Portuguese empire was and I quote… “…a very evil, deadly thing for millions of real, living human beings, as all empires are.” You know, as opposed to all of those dead unreal human beings out there (I still don’t know what this is supposed to mean).So, based on this shallow, indoctrinated view of history, we should also be concerned about “Princess of the British court Barbie” because the British oppressed and killed so many in India and…
